I don’t think this is true. After all, as the original author said,

I have to admit, I’ve been guilty of this myself many times. Anger and frustration are powerful things. It can be hard to communicate when you feel the need to express them. I always regret when I’ve done something like this, and I’ve had to force myself to apologize many times.

I think the vast majority of people can be good people and can be assholes. I think a community of people being assholes tends to bring out the asshole side of people, whereas a community of people being constructive discourages people from lashing out. Conformism can be pretty darn powerful.

Have you never been an asshole and regretted it, nor ever witnessed a good person being an asshole when they shouldn’t have?
